For this project I wanted to put my take on the Halo franchise's MANTIS mech; my goal being to find a nice mid-point, visually, between Halo V: Guardians, and Halo: Infinite.
It's been years since I've attempted anything like this before, but the entire process taught me so much - particularly about texturing. It was a fun learning experience, and I'm looking forward to taking the skills I've refreshed and developed even further with future projects.
All of the renders are taken inside Unreal Engine V in real-time, and the set-dressing assets are courtesy of Quixel Megascans. The particle effects are mostly sourced from Paragon, with the exception of a handful that belong to the VFX Starter Pack available on the marketplace.
