This is a collection of some of the materials made over the course of 2025 for my current personal project that I stream regularly on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/jamesward3d). A big thank-you to everyone that has tuned in over the last year and seen our little community grow - here's to another year of fun Environment Art streams!
All the materials are made by myself using Zbrush and then baked and textured within Substance Painter. All materials shown here follow the established project Texel Density of 5.12/pm to ensure a strong cohesive final result in-engine.
The materials are all rendered in Marmoset Toolbag, though their intended use is within Unreal Engine 5 where they are utilized within shaders as Virtual Textures to be as performant as possible. Each texture set follows an established project packing of:
R | Occlusion
G | Roughness
B | Metallic
These textures and materials are currently a Work In Progress and are liable to change as the project progresses.
